Sanaa has linked the lifting of restrictions on Saudi shipping to a halt in military operations, Al Mayadeen's bureau chief in Sanaa reported.
The bureau chief said Sanaa has stressed that its strikes against Saudi Aramco facilities and other Saudi targets are defensive operations rather than offensive actions.
Sanaa also affirmed that it will continue its military operations regardless of international pressure, stressing that it has not yet employed all of the capabilities at its disposal.
Al Mayadeen's bureau chief in Sanaa further reported that Sanaa considers any military movements in the al-Jawf or Marib governorates to be Saudi.
Sanaa's statements come amid renewed Saudi artillery attacks on residential areas in the border district of Baqim, northwest of Saada province in northern Yemen, SABA news agency in Sanaa reported Friday evening.
On Thursday, Saudi artillery also targeted residential villages in the Ghawr al-Mashwat area of the border district of Ghamr, west of Saada province.
Saudi attacks on Yemen have continued since the targeting of Sanaa International Airport in July, alongside the ongoing blockade imposed on the Yemeni people.
In response, the Yemeni Armed Forces have continued carrying out operations against Saudi-linked targets in both Yemeni and Saudi territory.
The Yemeni Armed Forces recently targeted Saudi-linked military gatherings in Mokha, southwestern Yemen, and struck Aramco in Najran with a drone.
The Sanaa government said the Yemeni Armed Forces remain fully prepared to confront the attacks and continue targeting military gatherings belonging to the Saudi army.
It stressed that its military operations and the implementation of a ban on navigation for Saudi vessels in the Red Sea fall under the equation of "blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation," describing the measures as a legitimate response to ongoing violations until the demands of the Yemeni people are met.
Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a member of Ansar Allah's Political Bureau, said on Wednesday that Yemeni forces would target Saudi oil fields, power infrastructure, water desalination plants, and airports should Saudi Arabia launch a full-scale attack against Yemen.
In an interview for Al Mayadeen, al-Bukhaiti said Ansar Allah has drawn on 12 years of experience confronting "Israel", Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Britain. He confirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces are currently limiting their strikes to weapons depots, Saudi military buildups, and other military infrastructure, with targets carefully selected.
Al-Bukhaiti said Saudi Arabia is concealing its losses, particularly its death toll, and called on Yemenis stationed at Saudi military camps to withdraw and protect their lives, announcing that rewards would be offered to those who do so.
He said Ansar Allah is prepared to fight on three fronts simultaneously: the first against "Israel", the United States, and Britain; the second against Saudi Arabia; and the third on the domestic front. However, he asserted that the movement would prefer a war against "Israel" and the United States "a thousand times over" to a war against fellow Yemenis.
He added that Saudi Arabia is pressuring the Tariq Afash forces to join the battle against Sanaa, while Salafi and Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated groups are fighting alongside Saudi Arabia and the United States.
